Associate Buyer
Full Time Exempt Position
Sandy, UT

 

Job Description & Responsibilities:
Liberty Mountain is searching for an early-career professional to manage several product categories with the goal of growing category sales.  This individual will: 

  • Select the products and brands to be offered in each category;
  • Target and approach new brands to be added to Liberty Mountain’s offerings;
  • Build and manage vendor relationships and resolve vendor problems;
  • Negotiate programs with vendors;  
  • Prepare product information for website and catalog presentation with emphasis on improving the web content and utility; and,
  • Analyze historical sales information and use that data toadjust inventory reorder pints and forecast new and existing item sales.

 

Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

 

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent computer skills are necessary. 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Data management and reporting skills.
  • Experience developing web content and marketing products online.
  • Good understanding of business math and an ability to convert sales data into a demand curve.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with outdoor equipment and its usage.

Customer Service Sales Representative
Full-time, Non-exempt

Job Description:

Help develop, maintain, and manage customer relations and sales throughout all territories in respect to the Liberty Mountain structure, mission statement, and motto by producing a.s.a.p. orders, prospecting new customers, and reactivating customers, while creating a profitable and growing business for both the customer and Liberty Mountain. 


Qualifications and Skills:

Required Education:  Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience: Preferred 1-2 years of Outdoor Industry experience.

Skills and General Experience: Communication, Customer  Service, Chat, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, and Motivation for Sales. Have knowledge and be a user of Outdoor equipment.  Advanced Microsoft Office and general computer skills are preferred.


Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Help develop territories by entering orders, taking calls, pre-booking orders, account prospecting and producing a.s.a.p. orders. Manage backorders effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with accomplishing sales goals for territory.
  • Efficiently import and process sales orders submitted through avenues including website, email, phone, chat, and the occasional fax.
  • Create new customers and opportunities for sales growth within the company.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining, retaining, and growing the existing customer base while also finding new customers to add tothe overall business creating sales growth within company.
  • Resolve complaints in a professional and empathetic way.
  • Proactively monitor and communicate with customers regarding MAP pricing.  Investigate pricing and vendor policy compliance issues.
  • Report frequently to sales management regarding sales data, new customers, customer visits/clinics, customer feedback, recommendations, sales opportunities and any other pertinent information.
  • Help with preparation and attend industry tradeshows if needed throughout the year.
  • Work on special projects and other specifically assigned duties with sales management to help generate new sales and customer retention.
  • Recommend to management improvements in product, packaging, shipping methods, service and procedures to prevent future complaints of a similar nature.
  • As a Full-time employee of Liberty Mountain the expectations will be a minimum of a 40-hour work week, maintain a clean and proper representation, treat all information with utmost respect and confidentiality, represent exclusively Liberty Mountain and its exclusive product lines, and share all information with sales management pertinent to the company’s success.

 

The customer service representative is an extremely valuable part of the Liberty Mountain sales force, as they will not only have interaction with accounts throughout all territories, but will assist with special projects from each department throughout the entire Liberty Mountain organization.

NAV Developer
Full-time, Exempt


Liberty Mountain is looking for a Microsoft NAV developer with technical knowledge in development, process improvement, NAV upgrades, customizations, and project documentation. Successful candidate will be a valued member of a team who will support and drive the implementation of a NAV upgrade from NAV 2009 to 2017 along with day to day operations and troubleshooting of issues that come up.

This position will work closely with all departments to make sure that each process is taken into consideration with the upgrade as well as help determine the best upgrade path.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including aspects of the core, advanced solutions and industry specific solutions;
  • Installation, upgrade, support, and documentation of Dynamics NAV;
  • Ability to work closely with functional consultants to translate user requirements into functional specifications then into technical development;
  • Providing onsite and offsite consulting services and support to Dynamics NAV clients Mentor and develop junior developers and coordinate with off shore teams.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of both the functional and technical sides of Microsoft Dynamics NAV including exposure to the latest release;
  • Ability to perform performance tuning on Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
  • Understand the functional and technical differences between different versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to perform upgrade assessments;
  • Experience installing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive software solutions to support organizational efficiencies;
  • Experience with C# and .Net to support large scale, iterative software development initiatives;
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) C/AL coding experience required.
