Warehouse Clerk
Sandy, UT & Montoursville, PA - Part-time Non-Exempt Position

 

Liberty Mountain is regularly looking for energetic, friendly, honest, and hard-working people to fill part-time positions in our Sandy, UT and Montoursville, PA warehouses. The position consists of 20-30 hours of labor a week, and work schedules are flexible between 8am-8pm Monday through Friday. This is a great opportunity for students or for anyone looking for a second job. Working for Liberty Mountain includes many perks such as gear discounts. Being an outdoor enthusiast is a plus.

Territory Sales Representative
Full Time, Exempt Position
Sandy, UT

 


Job Description:
Develop, maintain, and manage customer relations and sales of a given territory in respect to the Liberty Mountain structure, mission statement, and motto by visiting accounts, giving clinics,  prebooking orders and producing a.s.a.p. orders, while creating a profitable and growing business for both the Customer and Liberty Mountain. Specific roles within this territory include selling to groups such as camps, scout groups, and institutions.

 

Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

 

Work Experience: Preferred 1- 2 years of Outdoor Industry Sales. Experience selling to camps, scouts, and institutions a plus.

 

Skills and General Experience:

  • Communication, customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, and motivation for sales.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred and general computer skills required.
  • A passion for outdoor recreation and gear, specifically climbing gear, is a huge plus.

Customer Service Representative
Full-time, non-exempt

Job Description:

Help develop, maintain, and manage customer relations and sales throughout all territories in respect to the Liberty Mountain structure, mission statement, and motto.

 

Responsibilities and Requirements:

A number of responsibilities are included in this role, some of which are:

  • Entering and processing orders, taking calls, pre-booking orders, account prospecting;
  • Efficiently importing and processing sales orders submitted through website, email, phone and chat;
  • Resolving complaints in a professional and empathetic way;
  • Working on special projects and other specifically assigned duties with sales management to help generate new sales and retain current customers.


Qualifications and Skills:

Required Education:  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

 

Skills and General Experience: 

  • Solid communication skills and some customer service experience preferred;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred and general computer skills required;
  • A passion for outdoor recreation and gear is a plus.

Returns/Outlet Clerk
Sandy, UT – Part-time, Non-exempt 

 

Primary functions will be assisting customers/dealers with their return issues and shipping problems and basic customer service issues.  The clerk will help run the Outlet Store by keeping it stocked, selling product, and assisting customers. Hours: 25+ hours per week, Mon.-Fri. and at least 3 days per week. Work hours can be scheduled around school if you are a student. You will also be able to work more hours on special projects when they arise.

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Familiarity with a variety of outdoor equipment and its uses. Someone with a knowledge of climbing and climbing equipment, camps, backpacks, or enjoys the outdoors would be well suited for the job.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • The ability to use or learn our ERP Software (Navision)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills a must. Person will be dealing with shops from across the USA and internationally.
  • Diplomatic skills - May need to discuss issues with customers and vendors via phone or email and do so diplomatically.
  • Efficiency -- There are times when a large work volume will come through. We need someone who can buckle down and work without becoming too distracted.
  • Willing to take initiative and make positive suggestions and contributions to improving the company.
  • Positive Attitude -- This is an upbeat company so a good attitude mixed with a good sense of humor will fit with the culture.
  • Willingness to try all sorts of energy bars, gels, bug sprays, soaps, and gear etc. - you'll get a chance to test some products from time to time.
